So, I am going back to Guatemala in January 2012. I can't hardly wait. I will be spending about 16 days taking Spanish classes, living with a host family, and working with local medical professionals in order to use my skills as a physician to work with under-served individuals. Hopefully, I will also gain enough Spanish skills to use with my own patients back home as well.
